Service Opportunities

Sharing Your Gifts ~ Building Community

At AFBC, we believe that each Christian is given gifts by the Holy Spirit to be used in order to build up the body of Christ. As such, members are encouraged to use their gifts in service to the community. Opportunities for ministry range from teaching Sunday School, providing childcare, helping maintain facilities to serving on various committees and teams.

Community Food Pantry

Each month members of AFBC deliver boxes of food to families in our community. The pantry is stocked with non-perishable food items donated by church members. This ministry is in partnership with ABCCM. Items for the pantry can be placed in grocery carts found in the breezeway and atrium.
